Journalist

Ever since I became editor of my high school newspaper, I knew I wanted to write for a living. Before commissioning into active duty military service, I worked at WDIO-TV as a general news reporter where I wrote daily web articles to accompany my TV hits for the northern Minnesota region. I ran the social media department for an international air base in Italy and developed a small team to specialize in travel articles so that they could encourage military members to explore what Europe had to offer. While employed as a producer for Fox News, I worked as a contributor to help report on the end of the war in Afghanistan.

 

I have since written for various websites to include: Men's Health, Click and Learn Photography, Tiny Away, Semester at Sea and more.
